Documatics continues its expansion into the US Legal Market with its recent installation into the Public Defender's Office (PDO) in San Francisco.
It was after 4 years of careful consideration, that the PDO decided Legal Evolve was the perfect software solution to grow and adapt with their agency; upon completion of the project it will be deployed to 80 users across a number of offices in California.
The PDO itself has been in existence since 1976 providing effective & competent post-conviction appellate legal representation, in death penalty cases. Currently, it is providing such representation to over 130 men and women on death row in California. As is the nature of such cases, the trials can often be quite lenghty, which means the volume of Court Transcripts and other documentation can be huge...but we know that Legal Evolve is up to the job!
As well as managing the documents, Legal Evolve is playing a pivotal role in stream-lining the PDO's internal work processes and they are most excited about being able to search for documents quickly and generate a Brief in minutes, as well as its Workflow & Reporting capabilities.
